The midday of this solar quadrant is embellished with the
“lemniscates” (curve shaped as an 8). On sundials, a lemniscates
surely represents an enriching touch that completes the solar
quadrant. It traces graphically the Equation of Time. The signs
of the Zodiac with their respective dates have been painted
along its line.
