A lot of attention must be paid to the way solar clocks are placed on the walls of the houses, in order to exploit the solar illumination of the quadrants throughout the year to its maximum.

This sundial was built at the top of the roof of the portico porch, in order to delay the darkening of the clock by the shadow of the roof as long as possible.
