Isabella De Crignis, designer of this sundial, was born in Tolmezzo. Her feet are rooted in the mountains, but having travelled a lot, her arms are in love with the sea. Animals were her first love and second came plants, of which she is a scientific illustrator.

She is currently painting all the flowers that grow on Mount Matajur, where she runs a mountain cabin, called Rifugio Pelizzo, with her family.This sundial is her first work on a wall: a gift to her friend Elisabetta (Bet), who designed and loved that house.
