The motto says: “Il Sole al Germoglio come il Fiore all’Amore” (translation: “The Sun is to the Bud as the Flower is to Love”) It is by chance that this motto was thought of by Francesca and Andrea, the owners of the house, as every word in it begins with the initial of the components of the family.

The S of the word Sole (Sun) is the initial of the name of Silvia, one of the daughters.

The G of the word Germoglio (bud) is the initial of the name of Giulia, another daughter.

The F of the word Fiore (flower) is the initial of the name of Francesca, the mother.

The A of the word Amore (love) is the initial of the name of Andrea, the father.
