The Local Council of Aiello del Friuli  supported the realization of this square which was designed by the architect Mr. Carlo Zanin from San Vito al Torre , while Mr. Aurelio Pantanali worked on the calculations and of the solar-zodiacal calendar lay-out.

This picture shows the bricklayer who is working on the equinoctional line of the clock dial.
