On this quadrant, we can find not just one, but two lemniscates, the figure-eight curved lines that indicate the adjustment of the solar time to the average, when the tip of the shadow falls onto them.  On this sundial, it is not necessary to add the second adjustment (Time of the fuse, equal to about 7 minutes for Joannis), because the quadrant was built in a way which already takes such difference into account.
